| Over Sized Voice Coil
Available in a dual 3.0" 4 layer high temperature aluminum voice coil that allows for 1 ohm DVC amplifier connection. Long Throw Suspension Big series woofers offer over 2" of peak to peak excursion which is required to accurately reproduce low notes. Optimized Motor Structure Some of today's woofers just bolt huge inefficient magnets onto the back of a basket. The Big woofers utilize computer optimized geometry and a triple stacked 230oz motor to maintain tight control of the cone assembly. Fast, Lightweight and Efficient Cone Design Our Hybrid laminated cone assembly combines the lightweight of paper and sandwiches to a composite polypropylene outer dust cap.
